The Office of Steve Harris, DPT
Welcome!
I’ve had the privilege of treating patients for over eight years. In that time, I’ve come to understand the human body, its litany of capabilities, and the multifactorial nature of injury, dysfunction, and pain. It is my life goal to master the art of healing and ensure that people leave my office better equipped to avoid injury, honor their body’s capabilities and needs, and attain higher levels of performance safely and sustainably in the pursuit of their goals.
Integrating clinical expertise with athletic experience.
For me, it’s personal. I spent years as a dedicated endurance athlete. I ran hard, trained diligently, and competed with grit. However, I did not possess the wisdom that could have directed energy in more productive, less injured ways. While I did not meet every mark I set out to achieve as an athlete, I did learn much along the way, and found a passion for learning everything I can about human function, potential, and healing. Through a combined passion for understanding physical function and direct experience maximizing my own in running, I’m now able help others heal faster when injuries do arise, and provide wisdom on better practices and training methods for prevention of future injury.
One-to-one care. Always.
In this office, I’ll always give you the full experience of patient care that you deserve. That means no passing you to an assistant. I take a hands on, one-to-one treatment approach blending body work with neuromuscular reeducation and functional exercise to ensure optimized tissue quality and bulletproof mechanics to support those tissues. I treat the WHOLE person, and ensure that our work integrates movement across your entire body, not just the site of injury or pain.
To put it simply, in this office, you’ll get the best PT experience there is. That’s my promise to you.
